We make every effort to provide you with the best services in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere at all times. We strive for your complete satisfaction to provide a safe and secure journey to the best of our ability without any misunderstandings between us, the company and you at any time.
For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in Bangladesh but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnel’s hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service and the time left for the commencement of the service.
Apart from above in some cases like Rocket Paddle Steamer, Train Journeys, Hotels or Resorts bookings during the peak season; full payment is required to be sent in advance.
In the event of cancellation of tours / holiday services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 45 days prior to arrival: 30% of the Tour / service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost
- 48 hours prior to arrival no No Show: No Refund
Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Friday and Saturday, any cancellation sent on Friday and Saturday will be considered on next working day (Sunday).
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ ticketing, contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. We do not bear any responsibility to refund.
In regard to refund of unused / underutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account or to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
Alteration of Itinerary:
Before your booking is confirmed, adjustment to itinerary are happily processed free of charge, since it is our goal to offer you the best possible tour. However, after you receive the confirmation letter, any alterations will incur a fee of 50.00 USD per request, and changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Bangladesh Scenic Tours reserves the right to modify your itinerary if air schedule or surface transportation changes, or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/ refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes, then you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.
Our Liabilities & Limitations:
Bangladesh Scenic Tours act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways and contractors providing other services and all exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms and conditions under which these services are provided by them.
All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. May dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort and general well being.
We shall not be responsible for any delays and alterations in the programme or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any act of dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control. All baggage’s and personal properties at all times are at the client’s risk but we must try also our level best to look after your belongings.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country.
You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or the use of special equipment. You must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair if it is a necessity through your journey, please note not all of our trips are wheelchair-accessible. Bangladesh Scenic Tours reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants. We cannot accommodate women who are 06 months or longer pregnant.
